Santa Fe · Since 1993
A family of builders,
working in the
Santa Fe vernacular.
What we do
A small studio
with a long memory
of place.
Tent Rock builds new homes, remodels existing ones, and restores the historic adobes that give Santa Fe its character. Every project is led by one of the principals from first walkthrough to final punch list. The work happens slowly, on purpose.

A restoration of the home Georgia O'Keeffe spent her summers in. Adobe stabilization, hand-troweled plaster, period hardware sourced where the originals had failed.

Every site has a way the sun moves across it. Reading that — the angles, the seasons, the way it falls through a window at four — is where the work starts.

What clients say about
building with Tent Rock.
We had a great experience working with Tent Rock Inc. on our house renovation project in the East Historic District. From the beginning, their team was pleasant, communicative, organized, and easy to work with. They kept us informed throughout the process and handled any challenges thoughtfully and efficiently with great skill.
The quality of their work really stands out. They pay attention to the details while also keeping the overall vision in mind, which made a big difference in the final result. We were also very pleased with their ability to stay on budget and on schedule!
We felt confident in their guidance every step of the way and appreciated their professionalism and follow-through. We would absolutely work with Tent Rock again and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable builder.
The Family
Two generations
of Mullers.
One standard.
Tent Rock is led today by Perry and Riley Muller, continuing the Santa Fe building practice their father Joel began in 1993. The three of them have worked on most of the projects you'll see here, side by side with the same handful of subs and craftspeople they've trusted for decades.
